Gamebookers was acquired by Trident Gaming in August 2006 for a cool €102 million, their aim is to expand their customer base in Europe and South American countries but most essentially they want to divert their dependency away from US customers.

The operation is a wholly owned subsidiary of Gamebookers Group Ltd. Licensed in the UK, Austria, and Antigua/Barbuda, Gamebookers and regulated by the Government of Antigua and Barbuda.

Party Gaming is more famed for online casino and poker but with the recent acquisition of Gamebookers and using Sunfish software they now provide betting options on a wide range of sporting events including the industry norm to Australian football, snooker, pool, darts and winter sports.

Bet types offered include: handicaps, halftime result, first goal, double chance, over / under, correct score, margins and special bets.

Plus (P2P) a Person to Person betting system that enables bettors to become bookmakers, this in turn allows Gamebookers to offer more competitive odds.

This type of betting exchange is also provided by the top listed book Mansion.

Features include:

• A Bet Finder that lists all games/lines within a 3 hour range or up to 2 days.
• A free SMS service plus sports news, lives scores, and stats.
• Organize your bets on the Watchlist which is also integrated in to their WAP site for mobile users.

Promotions are limited but loyal bettors can increase their benefits with the Frequent Punter Program. Simply place 100 bets within 6 months to become a Silver Member, or place 250 within 6 months and become a Gold Member, strange there is no mention of the wager value so there may be a hidden clause.

Customer service operates 24/7/365 via email and phone use only. Gamebookers do not accept wagers from residents of US territories..

Wagering is restricted to internet and mobile use only, comparable with BetWWTS, CyberSportsbook, WagerOnSports, Oasis Casino, Betbet and the Betcorp White Label brands including 5 stars rated Advantage Sports Betting.

Limits will be cut for sharps. Some customers complain that payment is delayed for large winners.

Under new management Gamebookers are a forward looking organization searching for ways to improve their service. So far so good!
