Expekt is widely respected in the European market with incenses in the United Kingdom, Austria and Malta. The company was established in London, England in 1999 by Christian Haupt and Conny Gesar using their vast knowledge of financial business and IT to create an internet gaming site with diverse betting options.

The operations remained in London until 2000 and subsequently moved to Malta and with Chief Executive Officer Per Widerström at the helm.

The bookmaker is powered by TAIN which is based in Stockholm, Sweden which has been providing software to the gaming industry since 1999.

The website is well organized and easy to navigate with easy access to sports, casino, poker, supertoto and games. The sports menu and news sections are positioned in the centre of the page and located on the right side is access to mobile betting, live betting, live scores and sms results. The site provides ample information to get you going and registering an account is a very simple procedure.

Like NordicBet, Betsson and Interwetten this book has great football coverage ranging from premier leagues to the lower division and international leagues, Theres also a wide variety of other sporting events such as Finnish trotting, hockey, tennis, American football, Australian rules, bandy, basketball, boxing, cricket, floorball, golf, handball, motor racing, rugby, snooker, skiing, speed skating, trotting, volleyball and specials. There's something for everybody.

Bet types include system bets, head to head, single, multiple bets, handicap, double chance, half time / full time, correct score, over / under, short time, future, props and specials.

Minimum wager is 0.10 € with no maximum stake stated.

The maximum winning amount per bet is 55,000 €.

Reputedly Expekt take good size bets and they do not limit winners.

Deposit options include credit card, neteller, credit / debit cards, moneybookers and bank transfer.

The minimum deposit value is 10 € except for bank transfer which is 25 €.

And incase you have insufficient funds in your gaming account Expekt will allow you to charge bets directly to your credit cards.

Poker support is available 24/7, but casino and sportsbook support is only available from 8am - 12pm and although they support 26 languages all inquiries must be submitted via email and wrote in English if you want a quick reply which is generally 15 minutes during working hours. The time zone is not stated but I would guess its GMT.

There are reported complaints hat Expekt altered bet amounts without any notice or justification, one customer reports that he wagered 55 £ on a game and the book reduced the amount by 32 £.

A player also reported that unauthorized funds were transferred to the poker room and lost, despite repeated requests to the book to provide IP details and a chip dumping investigation the book was reluctant to respond.

The most common complaint however relates to the site reliability, the unscheduled down times and speed during busy periods.

Despite the odd complaint Expekt are a reputable book and are known to be one of Scandinavia's largest bookmakers with good prices on soccer and the ability to wager on the lower leagues in various countries.
