Sportsbook Review of NordicBet |

2006/10/01 - Review by Ira Nanson
Licensed in the Isle of Man and based in Costa Rica, NordicBet is a brand of Betpoint Ltd. NordicBet is the trading name of Norinvest Ltd, companies wholly owned by Nordic Gaming Group Ltd in Malta. The first thing that struck me about this site was the amount of scroll bars..... but they are merely a feature only visible when you minimize the page! The pages load quickly and the layout is pretty simple and easy to navigate. Their focus is mainly on European sports and like 5Dimes, Pinnacle, Mansion and Bet365 they are great books to bet on soccer. Other events include tennis, cycling, floorball, handball, table tennis, volleyball and winter sports. You can even get an early bet in on the 2010 Winter Olympics. Unfortunately they carry very little American sports and the horse book is limited to trotting only. Bet types include single bets, accumulators, bankers and system bets. Confused? don't worry, there is a useful "How to Bet' section that explains it all. Limits vary depending on the bet, but they can be raised on a case by case basis. Customers are required to send an email request to the lines manager. There are only four methods of deposit which include Credit Card, Bank Transfer, Moneybookers and NETeller. Despite boasting about their excellent customer service, it is limited to email and telephone use only and unfortunately, despite waiting 24 hours for an email response, I failed to receive one. Overall customers have reported very few complaints and most are relative to the inefficiency of ther customer service. An average bookie offering an above average experience but not suitable if you want American sports. SGR Sports Gambling Review rates NordicBet : |
