SkyBet, formally known as Surrey Racing is now part of the BSkyB Group Plc and all sporting event broadcast on Sky Sports is covered at SkyBet. In addition to internet and phone wagering Skybet customers can place bets via the TV interaction with SKY Vegas Live (available to subscribers in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland) and Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) which includes news and videos from Sky Sports and Sky News, plus live scores, and UK weather information.

The website was once considered to be completely inefficient but following a makeover in 2005 it greatly improved but the layout is too overwhelming with all the links plus the red and blue color combination.

Using OpenBet software, SkyBet is able to offer live wagering, live audio commentary for all UK race meetings and any other listed race, plus multi currency options in GBP, Canadian, US, Euro, Hong Kong, Australian and Singapore dollar.

Limits are not listed but if you are restricted when making a wager online you can contact the call center to request increased limits.

Change the look of the website with the useful "Boss Look Busy" link which is available for bettors in the workplace.

Sky bet has also gone one step further and considered customers who maybe cognitive, visually and/or mobility impaired by incorporating easier to use features in to their website.

Deposit options are limited to debit / credit cards only and withdrawals are done by check.

Minimum deposit is £5 or equivalent and upon registration you can set your own maximum daily deposit limits from £5 to £1000.

Customer service is only available via email, telephone and regular mail only. Hours of operation are 9am until midnight Sunday to Friday and 8.30 until midnight on Saturday. Regrettably there is no indication of the time zone.

Residents of the United States and territories are not able to wager at Skybet.

Registered in the United Kingdom and listed on the London Stock Exchange customers are guaranteed an above average gaming experience at SkyBet. However they still have a little more work to do it they want to compare to William Hill and Ladbrokes.
