Heathorns have been in the bookmaking business since 1890 making them the oldest known bookmaker in the world. The founder was a gentleman by the name of Alfred Heathorn who established quite a reputation for taking large size bets. The minimum stake is £1 and the maximum stake online is £20, 000 or equivalent.
