Bookmaker Review of BetandGame
2006/11/27 - Review by Ira Nanson

BetandGame have a nice website, the layout is simple and it's easy to navigate but the sports menu system is quite annoying, you can only view one sport option at a time which makes choosing multiple bets cumbersome. I also find there's a lack of information and although a help section is provided, it's just not detailed enough.

The sports betting section lacks character and desperately needs more options and information to fill up the empty spaces. Betting options are limited to specials, NFL, cricket, soccer and boxing, there's really not a lot of choice for serious bettors.

Curiously the betting exchange list more betting options and gives bettors an opportunity to play bookie or punter. Without the man in the middle, bettors are free to either lay or back any event with other players.

Some customers have complained that BetandGame cancelled bets on the betting exchange for reasons of technical errors. While there is an expectation and general acceptance that technical complications are likely for any internet company it is questionable why they should cancel a bet when they do not set their own odds. Betting exchanges are customer to customer and the bookmaker should not be able to cancel any matched bets. Speculation is they feed their own markets with odds.

Very few deposit options are available which included credit card with a maximum deposit limit of £200 per 24 hours, or bank transfer with no limits or there is neteller which has a limit of £1000. The minimum deposit value for all methods is £10.

Instead of bonus money, customers are credited with points. So for every £1 spent in the bookmaker, casino, poker room or on the lotto they will receive a designated number of points, for example collect 30 points for every £1 played in the bookmaker. Points can be accumulated and converted to cash once you have met the rollover requirements.

Be warned that BetandGame are quick to limit players when they detect a pattern of play and/or consecutive winning bets.

Overall BetandGame are not great, they have too many limitations and with reports of slow payouts we can only rate them as a marginal operation.
